Umrah Visa 2025 – Latest Saudi Rules, Deadlines & BRN Requirements
Planning your Umrah journey from India has become easier and more transparent, but recent updates from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj & Umrah (2025) bring essential changes that every pilgrim should understand.
This page summarizes the latest Saudi rules, clarifies the visa validity period, and lists the official BRN (Booking Reference Number) requirements to ensure your application is approved without delay.

Umrah Visa Validity & Entry Deadlines – November 2025 Official Update
If you’re preparing to visit Makkah or Madinah, the Saudi government now enforces a 30-day entry rule for all Umrah visas.
Your Umrah visa is valid for only 30 days from the date of approval or issue.
You must enter Saudi Arabia within those 30 days, otherwise your eVisa becomes void.
After entering, you can stay up to 90 days to perform Umrah and visit cities such as Jeddah, Riyadh, and Taif.
This rule, announced in late October and verified by the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah (see haj.gov.sa), helps streamline pilgrim entry and avoid congestion.

The Meaning of the 30-Day Visa Validity Rule
Many applicants ask: “How long is my Umrah visa valid?” or “Can I still stay 90 days?”
Here’s the simple breakdown:
You must travel to Saudi Arabia within 30 days after your eVisa is issued — this is your entry deadline.
Once you’ve entered, your maximum stay inside Saudi Arabia is 90 days.
Delaying your travel may cause automatic visa cancellation.
This entry deadline is verified by both Saudi immigration and the eVisa system, so it’s crucial to book flights and hotels immediately after approval.
Hotel BRN Requirements – Why Your Booking Matters
Saudi Arabia now requires all Umrah visa applicants to provide a Booking Reference Number (BRN) for approved hotels in Makkah and Madinah before visa approval.
No BRN = No Visa Approval.
Your BRN confirms that your accommodation is verified through an official platform like Nusuk.sa. Indian passport holders must use authorized facilitators or certified Umrah agents—direct self-applications are not allowed.
Each BRN must cover every night of your planned stay.
You can also learn more about hotel bookings via Nusuk Accommodation or through certified Indian partners listed on the Hajj Ministry website.

Gather documents: valid Indian passport (6+ months validity), passport-size photo, confirmed flights, and BRN hotel booking details.
Fill out your visa enquiry form and choose Standard or Premium.
For Premium, our team arranges your hotel and BRN verification through official Saudi portals.
Upload your documents securely via our portal or WhatsApp.
Once BRN and documents are verified, make secure payment.
After approval, your Umrah eVisa is issued within 3–5 working days.
Travel to Saudi Arabia within 30 days of approval and stay for up to 90 days.
